I just find it ironic that while mosley couldn't beat cotto, forest, and wright, he managed to beat the fighters that they couldn't defeat. it may be pointless info to many but i just find that interesting and very ironic. I was wondering how many other fighters were in this situation. im having a hard time trying to think of one. can anybody help me out?
The closes thing I can think of is Ali Forman and Smokie Joe.You also had Corrales Casamayor and Fratis(Think I spelled his name right.Sometimes fighters just have another fighters number.

I think Vargas had a lil something left when they first fought but the second time he was really shot.Mayorga always fought the same but when he fought Mosley he was 175 or a 170 that's a LHW so he took the shots better and was why he lasted as long as he did IMO.

difference is that vernon and winky were too tall or big for mosley. floyd is neither.

I think your wrong Mosley only got owned by bigger fighters(Forest and Wright). Not by good boxers like Cotto.Do you think Cotto owned Mosley?

Mosley was stylistically overmatched by Forrest and Winky. Not so with Cotto. While Cotto beat Shane, he certainly didn't dominate him, and it's not like Mosley couldn't beat Cotto, he just didn't.

Can't read much into him beating the guys who beat his conquerors.
