    Shane Mosley

I was thinking about the Mayweather vs. Mosley fight and i noticed something interesting, well to me. Mosley beat Margarito, Mayorga, and Vargas. I had just realized that all three of these fighters held wins against the fighters that defeated Mosley: Miguel Cotto, Vernon Forest, and Winky Wright. I just find it ironic that while mosley couldn't beat cotto, forest, and wright, he managed to beat the fighters that they couldn't defeat. it may be pointless info to many but i just find that interesting and very ironic. I was wondering how many other fighters were in this situation. im having a hard time trying to think of one. can anybody help me out?

Mayorga and Vargas weren't the same fighters that beat Forrest and Winky respectively

I agree about Vargas, but I think Mayorga has always been the same fighter.

Styles make fights. That's the beauty of boxing. Nothing is guaranteed from one fight to the next.

True but i was making a point about irony, not if they were the same fighters or not.

Mayorga's slowed down and it seems like his chin has gotten a bit worse from the Forrest fight.

Different fighters, different styles. When they clash anything can happen.
