I think you are a legendary poster catskills and I do agree with the lack of training at the heavyweight level, but you are severely underplaying Wlad's abilities.

His jab is great, he beats guys to the punch all the time, his timing is outstanding, he's got a text book left hook and even doubles it up when he wants to, and he's got missile of a right hand that just crushes guys.

That's why he's wrecked like 12 guys in a row.


It's too bad we don't have any fighters like Bowe-Holyfield, Tua-Ibeabuchi, anymore, but Wlad doesn't have a dance partner for that.


Hopefully one will come. Preferably a fat one with skills that beats him up.

the reason wlad beats guys to the punch is because he gets off first not because of his handspeed . he still has fairly quick hands for a heavyweight . he has a decent jab and it looks a lot better than it actually is because none of the guys move their . wlad main asset is size and reach do you honestly believe he would be champ if he was only 6'2. i honestly believe if wlad was fighting in the 80's or 90's he wouldnt even make the top 10 . he is a very limited fighter with a very dodgy chin . he cant handle pressure and he cant handle a decent jabber as tony thompson showed and thompson was a guy who didnt take up boxing until 27 or something . i mean that just shows you how bad the divsion is when a guy who takes up boxing at 27 ends up fighting the champion and was outboxing wlad until he got knocked out . that showed me that a guy with size and reach and a guy with a decent jab could outbox wlad . but sadily in this putrid divsion there are no guys who fit that description . i mean david haye for all his speed and power dosent even know what a jab is . i think haye needs to ditch his trainer and get someone who will show him how to jab his way instead of leaving himself so open and trying wlad from the outside. if haye doesent learn to jab wlad will kill him . i really wish roach would train haye and show him how to box.

a) Wlad isn't 6'2 and will never shrink
b) It's not the 80's or 90's
c) Wlad beat the **** out of Thompson and ko'ed him
d) 54 victories and limited- apparently I missed all the rounds he lost in his career.
Ok, his chin isn't the greatest but he got sparked out by massive punchers. Sanders had 30 ko's in the first three rounds, and Brewster back then 30 ko's in like 35 fights

Do agree about Haye to an extent. His speed does make up for some of his deficiences, and I agree he can't leave his hands low against Wlad or he's gonna meet a punch he can't get up from.

Do agree about the trainers not teaching as much as they did before.
