I kinda see it this way if Pacquiao doesn't ADJUST and STEP UP. BUT one thing that is dangerous is that if Pacquiao will catch Floyd flatfooted in the early round "before Floyd figure it out"...

But one thing we can also be surprised is Pacquiao's adjustment. That remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, Mayweather for a SD or UD unless Pacquiao would step it up and beat him. Doable I would say but that is why they fight in the ring, instead of argue outside the ring.

And that goes for us too....we can dissect these in oh, so many ways but it could easily end in a punch or flurry of punches before either one sets up or it could be a boring or strategic fight that can go to distance favoring Floyd.

The thing is, they used the jab to set it up. Pacquiao doesn't have a good enough jab.


I think Manny will give problems with his speed and high work-rate. Throwing 100+ punches will get to anyone. But Floyd is the master at adjusting to opponents. First few rounds will go back and forth, Mayweather might lose 2. Then he will probably stick the razor blade right down the middle of his stomach come the 4-5 round and it will screw Pacquiao's rythm real bad. Pacquiao will start looking real sloppy when Floyd does it. It will be real subtle though, most people won't even realise what is happening. Then the last half of the fight 6-12... will be a boxing clinic from Mayweather.

Manny won't throw 100 punches per round. Everybody's activity goes down v. FMJ.

Besides, Manny was only that active because Clottey shelled up. And literally half the 1200 punches were that piddly jab.
