Ike is truly a danger to society. He has legit mental illness and to free him would probably result in somebody getting hurt.

I love him as a fighter but the man is sick and there really is no cure at the moment.

Tyson was out in 3.5 years for **** but ike was crazy before he got put in jail...don't forget he drove his car with his ex-girlfriends child into something intentionally & permanently injured her son & he did time for it.he also has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder & scizophrenia...not exactly a good combination to be out in public.many believe he suffered permanent braindamage after the tua fight...he was never the same.he should not be let out unless it's in a mental institute.

yeah his whole case is weird, the hooker and the hotel room, etc. it seemed like a set up of some sorts at first, and not all of the facts, that i know of were available for the public.

although, his own friends and family was saying that after the tua fight he went a little mental. i read that they thought he suffered some kind of brain damage after fighting tua, thats what the peopel close to him said, stating that he got aggressive at times, then went into kitty cat mode, sounds like bi-polar to me.

it all depends to be honest if he's ready to get out, i think he should get a honest assessment, but who knows.

all i do know, is that he missed out on his window of opportunity, and that boxing missed out on a great heavyweight champion.

he would've ruled the division, IMHO.............

He was recently reviewed by a parole board, and they found him to be just as insane as the first time around. He is a psycho killer material. I mean, if a guy has different circumstances about him, then yeah, but a guy who done a violent crime and is appearing to be potentially threatening should not be paroled

I just read an interview with him, and in it he seemed like a changed man, but whether or not it was a show, or if that is how he truly feels is a different story. Since being incarcerated, he has recieved at least two degrees, and tries to do alot of reading and answering fan mail. He seems to have taken the religious path also, which if he is being truthful, then I believe he has changed, and I feel he should be released. But then again, I didn't sit in on the parole hearing, so I don't know.

But let me ask you this, if his name was say...Mike Tyson, would he still be in prison?
