    Very dissapointing news IMO,the worst thing is he WANTED to turn pro but his father stopped him,wait til his body grows? hes 22! Jose Benavidez is only just turned 18 years old and hes knocking grown men out,and Lomachenko is a gold medalist,and one of the most complete fighters out there

        Disappointed, and the fact that vasyl's dissappointed as well doesn't sound good. Hopefully the father realizes that his son is his own man and should support and or advise whatever decisions his son makes not have final say in the matter. Let his body mature futher? Sounds like he's beig overprotective.

              I don't want to say this. But am I the only one that thinks this might end up the Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs Sr. route? Develop your body? He is 22 ****ing years old. It's not like they will throw him in with lions immediately. He probably won't hit 24 before he faces his first serious challenge. Unbelievable.

                It's painful to hear such nonsense from his father. Lomachenko is unbelievable talent, one of the best amateurs of all time time, possibly the best; record: 300+ fights, 1 defeat (brutally reneged), has gold in Olympics, World, Europe. If you compare him with Mayweather in amateurs - it's not even a contest, Lomachenko would toy with Floyd.
                Even now he's already a little old to go pro - 22 and yet they're still waiting.
                Mayweather started pro career at 19 at super feather and his body naturally grew up to welterweight, while he collected the belts on the road.
                What scares me the most is that Lomachenko can kill his talent. Ukrainian ******ity, what can I say.

                    Disappointing news. Lomachenko is the best p4p amatuer fighter in the world. He should've turned pro back in 2008 after he won olympic gold and the Val Barker award (most outstanding fighter at Olympics).

                    Lomachenko = Future P4P King
