How many legacies have been destroyed this year?

There's been a lot of fights this year with legacies on the line.

    DLH vs Hopkins
    Freitas vs Corrales
    Jones vs Tarver 2
    Tyson vs Williams
    Morales vs MAB

I'm throwing some fights out, perhaps there are more.

I believe DLH's legacy is somewhat affected by this year, as well as Freitas', Jones (obviously), Tyson (kind of, one can say he wsa old and injured) and Morales I think will forever be looked at as an underchiever.

Freitas didn't have much of a legacy on the line that night. Tyson's legacy has gone downhill long before Williams beat him even before Lewis beat him.

jones was tarnished, not destroyed, freitas was just building a name for himself, he'll be back. Tyson, no comment. Morales lost to a pound for pound great. that doesnt constitute as ruining your legacy, he enhanced it with the trilogy. same thing for oscar.

cant really ask him for more, he's at the end of his career, it would have ruined his legacy if he would have gotten KO'd by these ordinary fighters 5 years ago, now that he is old and in his twilight, its not as severe

Agreed. Seriously, De la Hoya and Jones both secured they're legacies years ago, as did Tyson. Everyone knew that Tyson was no longer as he good as he used to be, Jones could beat top men in five divisions and that De la Hoya could do it in five.

As for Freitas, I think he'll never recover from what happened this year.

Morales will get back up, dust himself off and ride a bigger horse.
