No fighter is above the NSAC. The NSAC does its own thing regardless. NSAC will do it's own testing for any fight that is approved by the state of Nevada. But the NSAC does not draw up contracts. That's decided by the fighters. Mayweather had a clause demanding extra drug test, which camp Pac refused. Didn't replace the NSAC testing in any way. The OST wasn't about replacing the NSAC, it was a contractual clause that could of been agreed to by both fighters. But it wasn't.
Is Floyd above the NSAC?

lmao @ this thread..
Is PullCounter above this obsession with Floyd!
the other day there was a thread with nothing to do with Floyd..you were the first and only to bring him up!..sad///
Listen people....the nsac is not too worried about the test. As long as they get the results and or notified that someone tested dirty, they good.
The one who is so concerned with the test results is ronnie nathanielsz. He is the 1 who keeps calling the nsac and bothering them about these test results.
lmao..Ownage...brought to you courtesy of IMDAZED!!!
Pretty much.
Mayweather already past their test in december, IMO
He is through with NSAC until after the fight as far as drug testing is concern since Their drug test are only after the fight.
USDA is now in charge. and Keith Kizer said he had no problem with fighters
getting extra testing as long as they take the NSAC test.
So basically Kizer should mind his business until NSAC decides to give Mosley and Mayweather another test.
If he feels NSAC testing policies are good enough to catch cheaters, then he really shouldnt be concern about what USDA is doing since the NSAC drug testing in Keith Opinion the best test NSAC can offer and Mayweather already past it in december.
Mind your business Keith, or up grade your test...!The only time NSAC Should worry about the drug test Mayweather and Mosley take, is after the fight. Since they feel that is the best time to catch cheaters.
Them asking for the results of these test, shows they are not confident in their own testing...
If they want to know if Mayweather or Mosley are cheating 4 weeks before the fight, Then they should start enforcing their own Random Drug Test policies SO they can find out!!!
Simple as that

He skipped NSAC and just did his own thing? Isn't that unprofessional? It's like saying that NSAC's incapable of these things. Don't you think Pac agreeing to be tested after the fight is just? What's with all these cutoff days?Comment

Using that logic Manny Pacquiao is one of the most unprofessional athletes ever. Skipping the NSAC and enforcing his own weight rules and ****. DAMN!Comment

And a announced post fight test is garbage.Comment

Not really. That's already NSAC protocol and doesn't prove anything except that he wouldn't have had urine-detectable illegal substances in his system at the time of the fight. What about the PED's that are only visible in blood? What about the whole training camp? Completely unaccounted for.
Mayweather and the USADA don't want to give anyone a cut-off period. Pacquiao demanded that.Comment

I still don't get when boxing commission in the US became so quality that they are above reproach.
They do not do the best possible job when it comes to drug testing and their own members have said as much, now since there is a lot of boxing in the state and a lot of the events are small it would be a costly thing to do (and since it is a government agencyif they implement it for one fight they have to do it for everyone that asks so there is more to it than just one fight).
To just straight defend them blindly though like some people are doing is kind of odd, I was always taught to look out for yourself and not depend on others to look out for your best interests. I guess others were taught to let the Nevada State Athletic Commission look out for what is best for an individual (or individuals).Last edited by The Gambler1981; 04-09-2010, 01:46 PM.Comment
