    1998 Holyfield ducked Botha!

read a great interview from local boxing writer who discussed bothas career.in 98 he was holy's mandatory but refused to adhere to unjust demands(never went into detail)by holy's camp & was stripped of his ranking so vaughn bean got the shot at the champ.he's been waiting for 12 years to pummel evander for it....LOL! Rumors are running vitali may fight the winner of this fight if a haye fight can't be made...vitali by murder!

Who wouldn't duck the White Buffalo? Twas the most dangerous man alive in his prime.

Well, he's going to beat him now. However he should drop the idea of trying to become undisputed HW champion again, because it's not going to happen.

I'm not so sure Holyfield will beat Botha; he's a shot fighter in every sense of the word. If you looked up "shot" in the dictionary you'd see pictures of Evander and Roy Jones Jr...

Botha is shot too, though. And while Holyfield is shot he's still good enough to be competitive with a then titlist like Valuev (yeah Valuev sucks but he still had a belt then), and he landed quite a few clean punches on Ibragimov too. Botha has been struggling against limited opposition.
