why don't you give Floyd no credit what so ever?... He beat one of the most skilled fighters in the word with his skill... completely school Marquez... Who can actually do that other then Floyd... He didn't impose his size, he didn't crush him with welterweight power he gave a masterful performance... Damn man people dont give Floyd credit for **** it's ashame... So When Williams was moving up to fight Pavlik; would you have given Pavlik no credit if he would of beat him... If DLH beat Mosley in their first fight would you have given him no credit?... Would you have given SRL no credit if he beat Duran in their first fight?... FOH

Mosley had 2 fights at Welterweight and stopped both of them before fighting Oscar though.

Which part of it was unfair? Because I don't recall people screaming unfair when Floyd fought Oscar, and on fight night, Oscar outweighed Floyd by 10+ LBS. A greater difference than the difference between Floyd and JMM in their respective fight.

This would have never been an issue if Mayweather hadn't made JMM look like an amateur.
i wouldnt consider it a great win. it was a solid win for mayweather and he deserves credit for a great performance coming off a year retirement.

the logic around manny being big enough and marquez being too small is easy really. manny had three fights successful fights above 140 and is arguably in his prime right now. marquez had no fights above 140 and was possibly out of his prime judging on his two fights before. they were close and competitive before the knockout.

regardless of mayweather not trying to make weight, he gets credit for the victory for me. he said himself it was a tune-up fight. now look who hes fighting. no one can complain about mosley as his next opponent besides the haters.

shane already had fights at welterweight and beat a good contender in wilfredo rivera. marquez had how many fights at welterweight? marquez beat what contenders? at least hatton beat collazo(sortof) when he moved up. this was a new low.

What are you talking about JMM is a small LW and career FW and Floyd is a full blown WW.....the notion that they would ever fight is just silly and too much of a physical mismatch.

You guys need to stop imagining up these fantasy fights between guys who should never set foot in the ring together.

There are weight classes for a reason you know.

PWill is a large Jmw-small MW and Mosley was killing himself to make LW and had to move up, this so much that he has fought at jmw before......so its a bad comparison.

Did oscar cheated floyd at weight. Also didn't floyd fought at 147 for a few year and wasnt Oscar near end of career and was basically a part time fighter.

Marquez was showing move up from 130-135 that he lose alot of his speed and relied on his skills. Add addition 10 pounds on marquez along with floyd not bother going making weight and you got a slow marquez no matter how skill he was has 0 physical advantage. Really people tried to say floyd beat marquez with skills alone and fail to mention that Floyd speed and reach is what one that fight. Really the biggest problem for marquez is that he was too slow at 144 to effectively fight floyd. **** even people wont give pacquaio any credit if he fought marquez anything above 135. Pacquaio would actually stop marquez since marquez would lose way too much speed and reflex to counter pacquaio.
