DLH was not the underdog against Chavez. He was a solid betting favorite over Chavez.

Not as big as a favorite as Tito over Hopkins, but the favorite nonetheless.

He beat Harding who was still a solid opponent at 175, he also beat Johnson at 175, Woods was still ok at the time... Not just a one hit wonder man

DLH was the underdog in their first fight. There is a couple of articles stating that. Even saw one on here in BoxingScene a couple of months ago.

DLH was the favorite. My dad put money on him, and apparently he didn't get very good odds from the bookie because I remember him saying the odds were 3 to 1, and here I see in Vegas they were only 2 to 1.

To add, that was a cool experience seeing it in the Closed Circuit. The audience (mostly Mexican) was all rooting for Chavez.
