We cant comprehend why this was so difficult for *****s and Mosley fans to understand. The amount of emotional distraction on Marg was surely overwhelming. And thats what cost him the fight

Of course Margarito only have himself to be blamed for losing the fight.

But he's chances of winning went from high to almost zero just a few moments before his fight with Shane because because of the plaster issue.

It was impossible for Margarito not to be affected by this, specially in the ring where you need a lot of concentration. Its even generous to say that Marg was fighting around 50% of his total ability as a boxer that night.


True that Margarito was half hearted came fight time, but he was the only on to be blamed.

i've brought this point up before. i give shane credit for the win, but i don't think margarito could fully focus on just the fight after the whole situation occurred backstage.

Don't fool yourself, in the negotiations for the fight Margo took a long time to sign. It was the only fight out there at the time and they were holding out. Mosley got started to say to the media that Margo was scared and knew that he was gonna get KOed. This fight almost didn't happen.

Margo is been in alot of wars and there is no telling how much he has left. The time off might be a benefit to recover. After the Cotto fight he was suppose to fight in November and still needed time to recover from that fight.

Jin Mosley had just asked Shane for a divorce so Shane had heavy stuff on his mind aswell. Unfortunately for Margarito the thoughts Shane had in his head that night had very bad intentions and Margs felt Sugar Shanes Wrath

Lets not forget Mosley came off a long layoff and was fighting at a heavier weight late in his thirtys againest Mayorga. Thats why he looked the way he did. the bigger truth is he was still hurt from the cotto fight. he might have not been hurt during the fight but the months following he was, thats y he skipped clottey and almost passed up mosley.
