Real Talk:Cory Spinks was than all these current guys

I see all you guys talking about Pac, May, Cotto, Mosley, etc. But truth is that if Cory Spinks was still around in the WW division he would be mopping the floor with all these guys.

On second thought you may have some points and was just making the kid look good because he liked him alot.

Besides I heard Floyd didn't want any part of him after that one, remember when he called him out?

Imo he wouldn't come close with mopping the floor with Pacquiao or Mayweather.

He would beat Cotto and give Mosley hell.

Cory WANTED floyd to come up, but I got some sources that say that May punked out. He waited to Spinks to leave the division

Came you blame him? Spinks is the truth be beat Zab once and Mayorga TWICE which is something Floyd would not attempt to do.

Spinks was a pretty good fighter, although I'm far from a fan of his style.

He and Mayweather were negotiating for a fight in the fall of 2006, at 154. Some felt that it would help Mayweather get some leverage in negotiations for a De La Hoya bout as Floyd would also have a belt at 154. Talks of their negotiations was mostly met with fans angry. Mayweather ending up fighting Baldomir for the WW title.

In retrospect, despite Mayweather-Spinks being unpleasing to the eye, it would've been a much more compelling and competitive bout than the Baldomir one.
