Peter matches up badly against the Klitschko's. We've seen nothing in Peter since his fight with Wlad that makes us think it will go any differently. It doesn't help that Vitali made him quit on his stool. Peter will always be vulnerable to being outboxed and I think Haye would do that very thing to Peter as well, who in my opinion is just an overrated power puncher. Calzaghe wrote the blueprint on how to beat a more limited power puncher when he fought Lacey. Dirrell did the same against Abraham.
You can say there were 3 knockdowns in the Wlad-Peter fight, but even with 3 knockdowns Peter was getting beaten so badly that Wladimir still won the fight. That is called getting your behind handed to you by Wladimir.
And there was only 1 real knockdown in the Wlad-Peter fight. Peter's best punch is a blow to the back of the head, and that is what dropped Wladimir on one occasion. The other knockdown if I remember was a push down that the ref ruled a knockdown. The third was a legit knockdown late in the fight, although Wladimir was not even hurt by it, as he turned right around and had Peter out on his feet with a hook a round or two after that.
