Juan Diaz was a monster before the Campbell fight

Juan Diaz's weakness, he fades extremely alot and changes to a totally different fighter when he has a cut on his eye.

Bull****, younever put on gloves in your life apparently.

That dude is still a monster, he never quit in the Campbell fight, fought through a beating and terrible cuts and never looked to quit....ever.

His weakness is he is not a hard puncher, if he had KO power, he would be a world beater. He landed heavy shots on Malinaggi and JMM but doesn't have the power to put them away.

He's a pressure fighter with an excellent jab just wasn't blessed with power.

Much respect to Juan Diaz, he's a ***in warrior.

He has good skills, he has very underrated accuracy, his punches just always reach the target....But he pushes his punches and doesn't work a lot sometimes

Diaz does not have an excellent jab imo. Its average at best.

I somewhat agree, Diaz is a warrior, and he throws a lot of shots, but he takes too many punches as well as not having that much power. He still stood his ground and fought hard against all of his opponents win or lose.

Diaz is almost a perfect archetypal pressure fighter technically, but he unfortunately doesn't have the physical attributes such as an iron chin or hard punch to make it work against the very elite.

He's still a good fighter and I'll continue to support him, however the fact that he was hurt by Paulie Malignaggi doesn't bode well for his rematch with Marquez.

              Excellent jab, very underrated.

It's his main weapon to get inside, he is very well coached and like I said, if he had power he would be a pound4pound great fighter. He just doesn't have it, but he has tremendous heart.

his lack of power has to be his biggest weakness, he's fought alot more intense rounds than he'd have to if he had a harder punch... instead of being able to walk down his opponents and finish them(like a lot of other elite pressure fighters)...he has to fight hard for a full 12 rounds

Diaz is still a force to be reckoned with at 135. I think his confidence has been knocked though, will be interesting to see how he looks in the Marquez rematch.

I was watching some of his old 6 round fights and he was a monster. Fast, hit hard, was smart. Watching him now against Malignaggi and he is a completely different (worse) fighter.
