Some fighters look bad after all that time off but some do not. Quartey hadn't fought in 16 months when he fought De La Hoya and I thought he won that one. De La Hoya had been inactive for 15 months when he faced Vargas (also off for awhile but not as long as Oscar) and that was probably Oscar's best win. De La Hoya also looked good after long layoffs when he beat Mayorga and did better than I expected when he faced Mayweather. Whereas James "pound-for-pound the best" Page looked dreadful after a layoff.

My guess is that the layoff shouldn't really affect Mosley much.
