Wouldn't it be more beneficial for Shane to actually try and win this fight?

If he beats Floyd, he probably becomes the #1 P4P fighter.

Then he can fight Pacquiao for another pay day, and he'll actually have some leverage on the negotiation table(For one, Shane's offer to come down to 142 won't be there anymore).

If he loses, he probably won't get **** in the way of another big pay day.

Why does people fail to mention that even people were saying that Berto is going to beat shane since he hasnt had a fight since january of last year. . Add that Floyd is fighting shane with shane hasnt had a fight as long as Floyd retirement. Again floyd fans wanted floyd to fight shane last year, but now shane hasnt had a fight for almost a year and half. We wanted shane to fight floyd instead of marquez for July of last year. Now shane is not shot, but just don't act like shane has fought for the last year, and isnt 38 years old.


But if the time off doesnt' negatively effect shane, that floyd will have to let his hands go to beat shane. Right now the big question is how shane's body reacts to the 16 months of time off.
