Shane Mosley is shot and old only because he is fighting Floyd Mayweather

If i could rate this thread 5 stars i would. Its just the reality of it though.
I even asked the question before, how come before this fight was signed everyone was saying shane was the **** and mayweather was duckin. Then the fight is signed and officially on. The mayweather haters have to go and shoot down the guy they were saying would destroy mayweather.

My question now. What will they say IF mayweather beats mosley then goes onto signing with pacquiao, and beat him? pacman is past his prime??

Or even better, to the people that NOW SAY mosley is washed up and mayweather is pickin on an old man. What IF Mosley beats Mayweather. THEN goes onto signing a fight with pacquiao. AND THEN BEATS him. what will those same people say????

Ofcourse but when he signs to fight Floyd. Hes old as hell and Floyd will potshot his had off for 12 rounds. NSB is funny like that. Shane is not shot at all.

The haters are definitely deep around here, but I personally was calling for Berto and Pac to beat Shane long before the Mayweather fight was signed. Shane is still beyond a legitimate opponent, but I dont give him much of a chance.

I had Berto beating Shane as well. Shane has problems with boxers. berto is not perfect but he has the style to beat Shane and the size and handspeed.

After the in-ring fiasco Sept 19th 2009, all Mayweather critics talked about was how Mayweather needed to fight Mosley and how he was ducking him. Now he's being referred to as grandpa.

Everybody was waiting for Mayweather to step up to the plate against Mosley and when he did they **** on him by saying Mosley is old and shot??

I'm as happy as the next guy, but this fight ironically happened due to unforseen circumstances. If the Berto fight had gone on, I doubt Floyd would've opted to wait another 6 months to see what would happen out of both Pac and Mosley fights. Let's just say the stars aligned.

I had Berto beating Shane as well. Shane has problems with boxers. berto is not perfect but he has the style to beat Shane and the size and handspeed.

The thing with people saying Mosley has problems with Boxers, you have to actually look at the guys who beat him and what they actually did. Both Vernon and Winky used their size on him and overwhelmed him with Winky using his jab all night to keep Mosley at Bay. With Cotto, Cotto was aggressive early on, established the jab and Mosley turned it up and made it a close fight down the stretch. Berto really doesn't push the envelope like that and when he's in trouble and can't figure you out, he clinches. He wouldn't be able to do that to Mosley. You also have to take into acct the competition Berto's faced up until now, Mosley was a huge step up.

With that being said, I have Berto beating Quintana.

I get where you are coming from but Shane is a self admited brawler he'll always struggle with a guy who moves and has good handspeed.
