Jason gavern is fun to watch!

I watched him live vs cisse salif & have seen many of his fights on tv.he plays to the crowd, goofs around alot(even during fights),& always goes to war with whomever he's fighting.he's got a great chin & always goes forward throwing hayemakers.it doesn't matter how big you are,he will always try to take your head off...the problem is he's 214 with no power & marginally skilled.many top guys have him as a sparring partner.every fight I've seen he loses but the fans always cheer for him by the end of fights.he'd pleasing to watch because of his all out effort & the crowd sees it.he's always outweighed but he never backs down.always gets a warm cheer after every fight.too bad more skilled guys don't fight with his determination...great journeyman stepping stone.boxing needs guys like him & firtha.fight anyone,anywhere...zack page is another.

Right on! Didn't realize he won last night...sometimes big heart & effort outdo skill & power.

Yeah Jason has some skills as well he just does not have the KO punch, which is fine. He has a great jab, good foot work and a great chin to go with his heart.

I'm glad he won.he had a good bout vs salif I saw live.I saw him fight the Canadian heavyweight champion neven pajkic in a great 8 round slugfest.if it's a 10 or 12 rounder the result may have been different.he's ranked #54 in the world after his win last night vs quezada.he needs more 10 rounders.he's durable & in shape so he may be able to win more if he's given the chance.I will be following his progress.

I had the chance to spar with him a couple times before this last fight. He is a cool cat and helped me with some stuff...

he's been to Canada a couple times.as I said earlier he had a great 6 rounder vs pajkic & tye fields brought him to Edmonton last June to fight salif on the fields/firtha undercard.I was actually razzing him abit sitting behind his corner.he was funny & ribbing me back(I was cheering for salif)too.everyone enjoyed his ring presence.I was cheering for salif because I met tye & salif & took in some of their sparring sessions.now that I've seen gsvern a few times I've become a fan & hope him the best.he used to spar with toney & fields regularily I believe...imagine the trash talking going on in a sparring session between Jason & toney!

I thought the same, he and Toney would have been fun to mic and listen.
