one live attendance seat is usually worth the price of 3 or more PPV buys.. a live seat generates more revenue. It would be smart to put it in a large stadium if they knew people would show but the sad part about Floyd is that his fan boys claim they love him to death but will never buy a ticket to go see him fight live, because they aren't real fans.
So the fight gets stuck at a smaller venue and they sell closed circuit seats which are way cheaper.
FYI. *****s are the real boxing fans. watching a floyd fight on a free stream is way better than watching it live.

    Party Passes Available For Pacquiao-Clottey
Top Rank Boxing and Cowboys Stadium announced Friday the release of Party Pass tickets to this Saturday’s welterweight championship fight between Manny Pacquiao and Joshua Clottey. These general admission tickets offer an excellent view and will be priced at $35 each. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster by visiting online at ticketmaster.com or by calling toll free, 800-755-3000.

Party pass tickets give fans a chance to enjoy pre-fight festivities in the plazas outside Cowboys Stadium and access to six party decks located in the end zones of the stadium. Standing room viewing along the party deck rails is on a first come, first served basis. Large video screens with live broadcasts of the fight are on the plazas just outside the party decks.
stadium parking alone is $50. and lol at your $35 tix .
a $50 ticket will set u back to $80-90 after all the fees are applied. being in that fight cost me at least $500 (drinks, souvenir etc)

      that's true.

both will be higher than pac-clottey.

the thing is though he's not just representing mosley/may against pac in negotiations.

he's also kinda representing mgm grand vs. cowboys stadium.

the advantage of cowboys stadium is "more fans can watch the fight live"

by throwing out close circuit numbers he can make a case against that.

that maybe true but usada is just another organization that do test. There are others.

Marion Jones was still subjected to blood test at the Sydney Olympics which she passed. Maybe their blood test is not as stringent as usada but she wasnt suspected until 2006 when epo was found in one of her urine sample.

          that's for pacquiao-may/mosley purse negotiations.

technically schaeffer has to make a point for vegas > arlington

cowboys stadium's selling point is how many people can watch the fight in person.

he'll throw out the countless close circuit numbers and then he'll talk about making a temporary arena that can hold double of the mgm grand arena.

The second part of your statement is true. Mayweather is bigger in N. America and Pac is bigger is the rest of the world.

That is why they were billing the fight as May vs Pac domestically, and Pac vs May abroad.

From a $$ standpoint, the US generates much more $$ than the international sales, so that makes FM the bigger $$ generator.

What do you mean "lol @ $35 tix'?

That was a link, but I couldn't post it. You are welcome to verify. Or don't. Apparently, you feel there is some agenda where there isn't.

A good portion of the tickets for Clottey-Pac were those $35 "party pass" tickets. I believe those were largely walk-ups.

Side note: the ticket fees go to ticketmaster, not to the promoter....no?

30,000 plus 17,000 from MGM venue equals 47,000 so how can they brag that they did more than the Pac/Clottey fight which did 51,000?
