lol to be fair bert sugar doesnt really give a damn about any fighters after the 70's and even with the last part about duran and shane....shane was having trouble making 135 at the time he moved up and was a ****ing beast..and roberto duran is roberto duran.....jmm is too small for even 135 and was getting his ass handed to him by juan diaz before he stopped him the video is funny but its obvious jmm has no business fighting at welterweight and floyd picked a safe opponent

Yes, he chose Marquez as his tuneup. Doesn't change the fact that Bert Sugar is a hypocritical flip-flopping senile old man.

Yes, Shane Mosley moved up, took steroids, and was a beast. This is a fact.

How was JMM too small for 135 when he was the true champion in the division knocking out guys who previously have never been stopped. Corrales was getting his ass handed to him by Castillo before he stopped him, doesn't mean he was too small for the division.

The truth is Mayweather is just too skilled for Marquez, something Bert Sugar and the haters simply don't want to admit.

bert sugar is all those things you said and a douche...jmm was able to be the true champion because casamayor is on his way out of the sport and is basically finished...i dont get the comparison with corrales..im not implying that if your getting your ass kicked it means your too small...jmm looks slow and sluggish and gets hit alot since moving up to 135 and at 147 hes froch-like slow

He looks slow because he was in the ring with Mayweather Jr.

Pacquiao had a weight, reach, and age advantage, not to mention faster hand and foot speed over Marquez. That didn't prevent Marquez from stunning him and winning the majority of the rounds.

Marquez never had the best defense. Rocky Juarez landed the same leaping left hook as Juan Diaz or Mayweather did.

Marquez was never considered a fighter with great hand-speed. The reason why he was able to out-land Pacquiao in both fights, wasn't his hand-speed, but his timing. Mayweather can not be timed which is why Marquez landed a career low of punches according to compubox numbers. This is also one of the reasons why Marquez had problems with Chris John, his rhythm is not easy to figure out like Pacquiao's.

yes that is all true but if floyd fought at super middleweight against andre ward would he be as fast as he is at welter? would he be the same fighter?...saying floyd cant be timed is funny any body can be timed..you seem smarter than that so im gona assume you were joking...jmm is a counter puncher and its not in his nature to be aggressive even if he has been recently in fights to be more fan friendly...hes also 36 yrs old

Floyd already did what Marquez couldn't, that was fighting Oscar at light-middleweight.
