I love how the first commentator tries to pass it off as simple.. well isn't it basic striking if your a good striker you pretty much know boxing.. and the other guys just look at him like.. ughhhh no! lol

yeah it was funny how he tried to downplay boxing, but the true mma fighters know whats up

This reminds me of that Anderson Silva/Forrest Griffin match where Silva used only striking to KO his opponent. And Silva's boxing skills are only decent at best against a guy who had minimal striking skill.

Boxing is one aspect of mma.

Boxers are specialized technicians in stand up while mma fighters are a jack of all trades, but they do specialize in either bjj or wrestling, etc.

Both are exciting. Instead of comparing apples and oranges lik lil bishes, just enjoy both.


I like boxing more, but I know damn well an elite mma fighter would destroy an elite boxer in a street fight. And if you think otherwise id like to know why. You think a ref is gonna come in and break up a clinch? Lol.
