Do you think Pacquiao is on P.E.Ds or not?

Look at you picking apart the words of a guy when English is his 3rd language.I'm confused, SG. Was he telling the truth when he said he was fine with the tests as long as it wasn't the day before? Or was he telling the truth one minute later, when he said testing 14 days before was too close? Or a minute after that, when he said 15 days wasn't good either?Comment

Just because he speaks it doesn't mean he can understand it well.
Language aside, I don't think he really meant the "day of" or the "day before".Comment

Point to me where is the lie? lolInitially he states that he is fine with blood tests as long as they aren't on the day of the fight, Brian Kenny then brings up the 14 day cut-off point that was offered and Pacquiao says that he rejected that compromise because it would have weakened him.
He had blood withdrawn 19 days prior to the Clottey fight and it didn't hinder his training or performance whatsoever.
He said he is not fine with having blood drawn on the day of fight. He didn't say he was fine with having blood drawn 2 day before the fight did he now? Or 3 days or 4 days or 18 days did he? hehe.
Come on guys this is so poor.Last edited by Blubba; 04-06-2010, 10:58 AM.Comment

Pacquiao explicitly says that he turned down the Mayweather fight because he didn't like the possibility that he could have blood withdrawn a day before the fight, and that otherwise he is fine with blood testing.
Brian Kenny then reminds Pacquiao that Mayweather offered a 14 day cut-off period before the fight where he wouldn't have to give any blood and asks if that is acceptable to Pacquiao. Pacquiao says it isn't because it would weaken him and he "trains hard unlike others".
Pacquiao's English isn't the best but there's no way you can justify the contradictions in that interview alone with the lost in translation excuse.Comment
