    But Marquez lost the fight?

Controversial and highly debated. Go reread the list of those who also agreed that Marquez won the fight.

I can see that this is a biased thread but I just always liked this explanation: How are you afraid of a rematch when you fought a guy twice?

yup I have the same question ...

IMHO Marquez did not get the immediate rubber match because after the fight he was playing catch-up as to what Manny was trying to achieve then and if JMM could have beaten floyd they would have probably fought the rubber match already...

When are people going to shut the f*** up about this and stop acting like anyone who disagrees about who won doesn't know boxing?

They were both incredibly close fights, neither decisively beat the other in either fight. As a third fight, didn't JMM want 50-50 or something and price himself out? He has done that often.

So pacquaio is afraid of Marquez but yet he fought Cotto, Clottey and Oscar who IMO would beat Marquez to a pulp. And also both fight aren't robbery. They were Fight of the Year candidate for a reason. Both of their fights were difficult to score. They were to many close rounds in those fights.

The reason is really very simple and you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure it out.

I would love to see another Pac vs Marquez fight. (The f**** with a Mayweather fight. I've given up on that one.) Just to see Marquez KTFO for good next time. You could resurrect Marquez all you want, but the fact remains that Pac has managed to be on top and Marquez is still struggling to get the biggest pay in his career. I wonder why.
