Still cant believe some dumbasses that think Floyd would beat a prime DLH!! Remember Floyd running from a shot and old DLH to a split decision????!! Running like a lil scared ***** for the at matter. Whitaker ****** so he dont count...right? (sarcasm) DLH lost his prime when he was like 27 keep that in mind. If you were that rich, famous and had everything you could ever want, you'd lose a little motivation and slack a little. He has said in many interviews that he lost his passion and motivation and it showed the last few years of his career. Just because he was 30 does not mean he was in his prime.

Never was a DLH fan, only 1 in my familia who wasnt, respected his skills and mos def think DLH would beat the **** outta fmj in his prime, no questions asked....

In his prime at 147 De La Hoya would have been faster and much sharper than he was when he fought Floyd. I say the fight goes much the same, but De La Hoya is much better at what he did and wins about 7 rounds to win the fight.

alot of ppl seem to forget how good prime de la hoya was, his rep is overshadowed by his average performances from de la hoya vs mosley 2 and forward, but dlh vs vargas and pre that was very telented, id actually have that dlh beating every welter weight now. funny how money can kill such a passion for success that he had when he was young.
