Remember that inactivity by Floyd is brought about in fighting bigger opponents. He would not be as gun shy in the lower weights.
Great post, and that is why I think Floyd will win too. But, I think Oscar would win more than the 3 or 4 rounds he won when they fougth. Oscar would of gave more problems. But, I think Floyd would of won also.

First of all DLH, was robbed in the Tito fight( You must be blind if you think Tito won) Second he was robbed against Mosley in the second fight which was later determined that he (Mosley) was on PED’S.. Lastly a prime DLH vs PBF would be hard to call but I will still go with PBF..

Yo J. Thanks. What's up? People really though Dlh never fought at 140. Tua's (I think ) true story on Dlh and Mosley skipping 140 to avoid Kostya did wonders. Lolz.

Is Floyd making this thread? Nope.

Money isn't apart of this topic. It's can Prime ODLH, beat Floyd at 147. Money doesn't factor into it, it's performance and skill. Then your opinion.

DLH in his prime > Pacquiao at 147 too but it doesn't mean anything we cant judge fighters based on which boxer woulda, coulda or shoulda if he had the best conditions possible.
Pacquiao and Floyd both beat DLH, end of story.

Floyd haters do the same thing they accuse "*****s" of doing: judging a fighter with suppositions.

I think they both would've always given each other problems. The higher up in weight, the better the chances for the naturally larger De La Hoya. Mayweather really has little business fighting above 147 and looked pretty crappy offensively against De La Hoya. I also wouldn't have the matchup at 130 since there is so little from DLH to base it from at that weight and he was green then. 135 through 147 are the better matchups, I'd say 140 would be the best weight for the two. De La Hoya's jab and size would always trouble Mayweather. Mayweather landed one pull counter early on in the fight and DLH walked right through it. DLH was a nice combination puncher and could outwork Mayweather, who's more selective with his punches. DLH was always inconsistent with his right hand though. He improved it later on in his career, but that's when he fell in other areas as he was older and not where I envision this matchup at. Mayweather's very good at taking away his opponent's best weapons and it's very difficult to envision a more-or-less one handed fighter beating him. Throughout his career, fast fighters gave DLH more problems. I'd make Mayweather the slight favorite at 135 and 140. I'm not confident about his chances though against the DLH of the late 90s at 147.

prime oscar knew how to steal rounds without landing clean blows, esspecially against a defensive minded fighter, so he could win a controversial decision

Money doesn't dictate skill. ODLH was the most popular boxer in history. So this post is invalid.
                    That was my opinion!
