I don't really get the point of the TS argument. He didn't hit him on the chin but instead on the chest....and he went down...and looked stunned. Wouldn't that be more of an achievement?

The punch does hit Ruiz on the jaw though. With Ruiz having his chin tucked down and his shoulders hunched, the follow through from the punch drives Haye's fist off the point of the jaw and into the chest/shoulder.

Very weak argument by the OP. Just follow the trajectory of the punch, and look at Ruiz's reaction. Or are you accusing him of faking it?

Looks like the punch hit his chin on the button then ended up near his chest. Ruiz was already falling by the time the it hit the button.
