Haye punched through Ruiz' chin. He hit his chin and his punch kept going, where it landed on Ruiz' chest/shoulder area (by then Haye had full extension). If Ruiz' chin would have been on the very end of that punch, I think he would have been severely hurt in that round, but instead, Ruiz' chin caught the punch about half way through.

chambers was hit with a hook, ruiz was hit with a straight punch down the pipe. it pushed his chin down causing his head to tilt slightly forward if anything, certainly not spin around. similar to abrahams KO punch on taylor, his head didnt spin around for the same obvious reason. hayes punch just tapped his chin but it was enough, it landed clean, ruiz never saw it and walked right into it. u can see the way ruiz went down he was hurt, anyone not biased by a racial motive anyways.. or maybe he faked it "like dirrell".. lol..
