The problem with people overall is that just because we have read extensively about it, heard a lot about it, and saw a ton of videos about it, but has not lived it in the first person, we think that we can give a proper opinion about the matter without looking ignorant.

I lost some respect for Ace Rockolla. I was a big fan of his since his loveline days. The comments he made about Pac I have no problem with. I actually thought some of those comments were funny, even the chicken bone comment. But when he attacked the Philippines like that, it shows you how ignorant this guy is.

People on this forum keep saying "have a sense of humor" and bull**** like that. I've been listening to Carolla's jokes for 12 years and I can tell he was on an anger-filled rant, and I didn't detect any humor in his voice. I love Chappelle and George Lopez for their racial humor, but when was the last time they "joked" about someone's race or country the way Adam did.

Carolla's humor is very dry and mellow, and I've heard him get loud only when he's aggravated or trying to make a point. I don't think he was joking, he was bashing an entire nation he obviously doesn't care to learn about.

Everyone knows Pac is a star and millionaire in the U.S., which means he is a superstar and billionaire in the Philippines. He lost the congressional election in 2007 by a landslide and I doubt he'll win this election coming up. People need to understand that Filipinos love Pacquaio for being a great Filipino boxer, nothing else. His movies suck ass and his concerts are being canceled due to poor ticket sales. There are a lot of obsessed Pac fans out there, but most fans of all races just love to watch him fight.

That being said, I hope Pac can take the damn blood tests already. It makes me su****ious that Roach or Arum won't convince Pac to take these tests. I also hate how Roach, Arum, Ariza always try to speak for Pac. Spreading rumors about "cultural" beliefs, fear of needles, etc. just make Pac look guilty without him even saying a word. I doubt he's on peds, but there are so many lame excuses floating from that camp, I can't help but wonder now. Pac needs the Mayweather fight for more than just one reason.

BTW, I hope Carolla gets his **** together. He really is one of the funniest guys ever. It seems like he's desperate for ratings, since his peers like Jimmy Kimmel and Dr. Drew are more relevant than he is now.

Adam got caught in the radio trap... the downside of not being rehersed or prerecorded. Sometimes in radio, especially talk radio you have to make a 10 second statement last 10minutes, the easiest way to do this is ranting, sometimes when ranting you say something ******. The best thing you can do in a rant is embrace what you just said, and defend it to the end of your show, if you say something ******, you can't stop and be like "sorry that was ****** i didn't mean to say that" your ratings will drop, your audiences faith in you will drop, you have to commit to it %100 percent an apologize later. People will listen if you're offensive as long as you don't stop and backtrack.

He was trying to make a generalization, he was trying to say something like "asians are superstitious" though not always the case, its a stereotype that exists and anyone who's been in the high stakes room in vegas will see what i mean.

but instead of saying that 10 second statement, he ellaborates, instead of using the words superstitious he chooses the phrase "prays to chicken bones" and keeps digging his grave further and further.

He didn't mean it, it would have been best if he didn't say it, but its his job, and he did his job well.

i think ppl kinda dont understand what comedians do...they make fun of ppl. they make fun of races of ppl. they make fun of countries. i see no story here. ppl will always be a little emo and sensitive, but get over it!!!

I just find it odd when someone says something a bit negative about Filipinos, they get all riled up about it.

When Teri Hatcher said that line about Filipino doctors, they got all pissed about it. They didn't get pissed at the writer of the episode, they got pissed at Hatcher herself.

Remember when Alec Baldwin went on Letterman and said on a whim that he'd probably get a Filipino mail order bride? Senator Bong Revilla said that he wouldn't allow him in the country. Baldwin apologized and they still wouldn't accept his apology.

A decade ago actress Claire Danes said Manila, "smelled of ****roaches and **** were everywhere. It's a horrible place." The corrupt President, Joseph Estrada, demanded an apology and said she will not be allowed in the country. Well, Danes gave numerous apologies but the government didn't accept them because they felt it wasn't sincere. They never put the statement into context when Danes was just speaking about the place they were shooting in Manila, which was one of the poorest districts of the city.

Man, Those are some pathetic reasons to boycott someone from your entering a country which they wouldn't even have if it wasn't for the United States saving them from the Japanese.

No wonder they are so insecure and give red k to anyone who isn't a Pacquiao fan. That's disturbing and unhealthy!
