I'm really surprised at this comment. Can you explain why you think this way?

Some of the people here have made good points about this match-up. I think the two biggest question marks with Miguel are: How will the move up in weight affect him? And, how badly have his batterings against Margarito and Pacquiao affected him?

I think the move up in weight is less cause for concern. As has already been pointed out, he might actually feel better at 154 since he won't have to drain. As for the poundings Miguel has taken, we may not know the extent of that damage for some time...if ever.

Cotto is the better fighter. Although Foreman is a pretty good boxer, Miguel boxes well himself and has more power. I don't think Yuri has the power to hurt, let alone stop, Cotto, even after Miguel's past fights. There's no way a new trainer, at this stage in his career, is going to suddenly make Foreman a respectable puncher. The guy's as feather-fisted as they come.

Emanuel Steward might help salvage what some people think is a career in sudden decline. I don't see how he can hurt. I don't envision a "tough night" for anyone but Yuri Foreman. If Yuri wins, it'll be because he out-pointed a fighter who's best days are now confirmed to be behind him.

your 2 steward is an upgrade so it will be a positive affect on cotto but its going to take a couple of fights
your 3 the weight is a non issue

Only things im worried about are how Cotto reacts 2 fighting at 154 lbs & what type of chemistry (if any) can Miguel & Emanuel come up with. Other then that, I see no issues 4 Cotto against Foreman. Not saying he's a pushover at all. I just think Cotto wins.

I think Cotto is going to have a tough time. He's going to have to be in great shape and he's going to have to understand that a sustained body attack is vital to a winning effort here. Foreman is no pushover. I hate the way he fights but he's effective.

Dwyer picks Foreman to beat Cotto up. Im not saying I agree, but that guy is usually pretty good with his picks.

              I agree with this.

I also think people underrate Foreman's power. He's certainly no huge puncher, but he'll be able to back Cotto up I think.

He beat the **** out of Santos. Santos was in no condition to even fight that night, but Santos is a tough guy and Foreman stunned him pretty well on a couple of occasions. Cotto won't walk right through him. He's going to have to use timing and footwork to score with any consistency. He did it once with Carlos Quintana...this could be quite a bit tougher at this stage in his career.

Yep....and as good as Quintana is, he's easier to get inside on than Foreman will be, and that's when Cotto got to Q. Q landed some big shots on Cotto in that fight, hurt him to the body a few times.

Cotto has his work cut out for him, no doubt about.

I saw Yuri win his title. I didnt think much of him. I still dont think much of him. If Cotto cant snatch that belt, he should retire.

As it is, he stops Yuri inside 9.

Jab away Yuri ... If not, then I predict a Cotto decision.
