    good matchup

i like the matchup, foreman is a good boxer stick move type fighter.
cotto is going to take the role as the aggressor and i think win this fight. I don't think it will be a dominating performance by cotto but i feel he can edge out foreman. i say cotto by decision 8 rds to 4. I can't wait to see the difference in cotto performance with a great trainer and see were his abilities are after three hard consecutive fights, marg, clottey and pacman...cant wait to see this one...cotto always gets my ppv $$$...

As much I love Cotto I think he will lose or get TKO'ed by Foreman.

Cotto is going to beat foreman. Cotto will not be facing any kind of pressure from foreman so imo cotto can be comfortable/relax and do his thing in there. Plus the addition of steward which is a major upgrade from the pendejo guy.

i dunno, there's a lot of unknowns for both of these guys. if cotto is anything like the fighter we've seen in the past, he'll by far be the best man foreman's been in the ring with. foreman will also be much larger than marg, who was probably cotto's largest opponent to date. same height but foreman hasn't fought at less than jr mid. we've seen manny steward work miracles, so who knows what he can do with cotto. i do think the cotto that beat mosley would wipe the floor with foreman, but the question is how far is that cotto from today's cotto.

Can't cosign Cotto beating Foreman so handily as many think
because for 1, Cotto has never fought at Jr Middle and Foreman
is a champ there, so can't picture seeing a dominating performance
by Cotto. For 2, Who knows what kind of affect Emmanuel Steward
will have on Cotto. 3, will the weight be comfortable for Miguel Cotto?
Cotto is entering unknown territory. Will see how it unfolds come
            fight night.

Like I said in NUMEROUS threads it’s not the style matchup I disagree with it’s the whole competing in this weight-class thing that makes it sour.

Say Cotto wins this title than he’s going to have to contend with other 154 monsters i.e Martinez, P. Williams and Angulo to name a few. After going wars he’s been through I don’t think it such a good idea.

your 1 cotto will be comfortable at 154 he wont strain his body as much to lose weight and foreman does not sit on his punches
your 2 steward is an upgrade so it will be a positive affect on cotto but its going to take a couple of fights
your 3 the weight is a non issue

doesn't take much power to cut someone.

Cotto never had a trainer like Steward. His fight game is going to evolve so much from his new training camp.

I'd be very surprised if he didnt have an impressive win against foreman.
