Will Berto still be a Paper Champ after this Saturday?

First and foremost beating Quintana is no joke; Quintana is a great fighter. I would be inclined to say that Quintana could pull off the upset (if he trained right, and is healthy coming into the ring).

Now Berto...IMO is still green!!! I thought Collazo won the fight, I think you put a boxer in front of Berto you'll see him struggle. Technically, he was a mess with Collazo. There were at times where Berto squares right up.

Juan Urango fight??? He was ok...but Urango is slow all over waiting for that KO punch. Devon Alexander was impressive with that KO...but that's another post.

Is he a "paper champ"? Well, I'd rather wait to see him against Quintana, because as of right now, he isn't anything special...especially after Collazo in my mind confused the mess out of him. IMO Quintana boxes him to a decision...

Collazo fought Berto close, but it's far more of a stretch to say Collazo won that fight than Berto. I don't what Berto could possibly do to shake the haters. He offered Collazo a rematch and Cotto a fight and apparently they didn't want it, then he actively tried to fight the number 1 welterweight in the world, who complained about being avoided. Manny and Roach would rather fight Margarito and Marquez over Berto, so he can't be that bad. He’s the best welter besides the three stars, and I hope that this and his next fight prove it.

What does Berto have to do vs Quintana to legitimize his status as a Real 147lbs Champion. Or will Quintana whoop Berto and relieve him of his status as Paper Champ.

I hope not. for berto to impress me, he will have to KO quintana or force him to quit.
