This guy is obviously in denial foremost. To tell the truth, Mosley has been steadily declining since his first loss to Forrest... He barley beat Margarito and Mayorga who are C- level fighters with no boxing ability, pure slugging ability... I bet he wouldn't bet his trainer check on Mosley to prove the truth...
That's what some people don't understand. Floyd is not gonna slug it out with his opponents, he forces his opponents to fight his way, not their ways. Ricky Hatton forces him to fight, and he did. He still did it patiently by using his timing and instinct. It's up to Mosley to control the fight and make Floyd fight his way. If he can't do that, he's not on Floyd's level. You have to be able to do that as a great fighter. I think that's what Floyd meant when he said to Mosley, "You gonna have to make me respect your fighting skills."
It's just not a good strategy to come in aggressive against a precision fighter. Much better to go for some attrition and then take a shot in the later rounds.

Floyd can be aggressive offensively in a patiently sort of way. He's not gonna be all offensive throwing wild punches left and right. The Hatton fight is a good example of that. He was more aggressive in later rounds offensively, but he did it in a smart way, he fought the way Hatton wanted him to and he still fought his own way at the same time, that's how brilliant Floyd is as a Boxer.
I'm not drinking the koolaide. The actual fight will be Dela Hoya vs. Mayweatherish at best.... and Jones vs. Hopkins-like if Mosley gets too cautious. Either way, Mayweather's gonna be boring as usual.

Okay, it's gonna Mosley's fault. You want to bring the offensive fighter out of Floyd, you gonna have to force him to do so. If Mosley can't do it, he's just not good enough to be compare to Floyd.

I was refering to Mosley, coming in too aggressive. Floyd's precision causes too much damage to a fighter looking for a knockout early and takes away any shot Mosley might have of causing damage by taking risks later in the fight.
I just don't see anyone seriously catching Floyd early.
I still can't believe that George Foreman called Floyd a chicken for the way he fought Oscar. Yes, Floyd was facing a past prime fighter, but that fighter was still bigger and stronger than him. Floyd is a small fighter even at WW, and he was fighting the bigger fighter at his own weight class, he did what any smart fighter would do, play cat and mouse. You don't slug it out with someone bigger and stronger than, you'll lose in the end if you don't fight smart.
