Corrales was an unbeaten champion in his prime (and he beat good fighters). He was considered one of the hardest punchers in the sport and was actually slightly favored to win. He went on after that to win championship fights over Freitas, Casamayor, and Castillo. How is that not "Elite"? If not, who were the "elite" fighters rated above him in the division?

Granted that he's in Shanes camp, and is supposed to be confident in Shane and cheering for him 5 rounds is ridiculous. Shane won't knock out Mayweather period much less in 5 rounds and then calling Mayweather all hype??? Its one thing to cheer for your fighter but to underestimate a great fighter like Floyd like that is insane. I think Floyd wins in a decision but it will be a close fight.

I love how Shane just expects to go in there and knock Mayweather out early. Perhaps he thinks he's still fighting Margarito. Maybe he thinks that Floyd isn't fast and sharp enough to catch him coming in. He better not get caught like he did against Forrest. Shane does well in rounds 1-3. Floyd begins teaching him a Introduction to Boxing course in the mid rounds. By late in the fight, Shane is stuck in advanced boxing 101 class. Floyd by wide UD.

I had Cotto losing round 4. I see what's wrong. You judged this fight based on flashy power punches. Mosley maybe rocked Cotto once in those rounds but Cotto landed more, outjabbed him and had ring generalship. Close fight but i scored it 116-112 (at worse115-113), close but clear win for Cotto.
U can't talk about a robbery, if Mosley beat Cotto then DLH beat Mosley in their second fight and Castillo beat Mayweather in the first fight.

Fights u can call real robberies are Lennox VS Holyfield, DLH VS Sturm,..

Cotto clearly won against a good Shane Mosley.

Unless shane magically learns head movement this fight is going to end up in a clear UD. Ill admit shane can cause floyd some trouble but like many others I don't think he has the legs to move aroundd and cyt off the ring.

Sorry Corrrales was not favored to win over May that's just not true.Corrales is under Casamayor no?Casamayor beat him twice no?He beat Freitas on the downside of his career(still was a good win just had to point it out) No?The Castillo fight was one of my favorite fights of all time.Do I think Corrales is elite no still don't.To me elite is guy's who move up and win tittle's or beat someone of elite status which he never did imo.He beat Freitas who beat Casamayor who beat Corrales.Imo Casamayor is the elite fighter out of all of umm.

Not for nothing but we don't know if Mosley wasn't roided up for that first. I've given him a pass though because I'm convinced Oscar was roided up for that fight too. He must've been doing some heavy heavy lifting for that first Mosley fight.

Anyway, this is no cakewalk for Floyd. I wouldn't be surprised to see him laid out and if he wins convincingly or otherwise, he will get full credit from me.

WHAT!!!!Imo those fight's everyone of umm was a robbery and I had it scored for the other guy(even the Mosley Hoya 2 fight) lol bad example.Oh and I'm judging the fight on who was making the fight.Cotto came out in his normal seek and destroy style then started to land and he became a boxer out of no were lol. Then when Mosley seen this change he change and was still land the more effective shots that's how I scored the fight who would I have rather been in the rd it's the way I score every fight.the Crowd(Puerto rican I might add)was chanting Mosley's name come on man.

You are without a doubt the most illiterate, fanboy poster I've ever encountered on this site. You can't even spell, and you think Shane is a master boxer. If Shane is as great of a boxer as you say he is, I challenge you to do something for me. Go to Y**tube and watch the Margarito vs Mosley fight. Turn the volume all the way down and JUST focus on Shane's defense. Forget everything he does offensively and just focus on his defense. If you do this, you will see that Shane Mosley is just coming straight forward, and just throwing punches. Shane is not moving his head or making himself elusive at all. If Margarito had ANY boxing ability, Shane would have had a tough time.

Furthermore, Shane has shown absolutely ZERO ability to adjust his game plan according to his opponent's style. EVEN IN THE REMATCH! In both fights with Forrest, Shane could not get around Forrest's jab. In both Winky Wright fights, Shane could not figure out how to get around Winky's jab. I will venture as far as to say that in the last several years, all of Shane's victories have been against opponents who have been tailor made for him. What I mean by this, is all of his opponents as of late have been straight ahead fighters who cannot box to save their lives but instead rely upon their power and strength to win their fights. Even Mayorga was like this and we all saw how Shane struggled with Mayorga, who is hardly a boxer. You must ask yourself how Shane, having a huge hand speed advantage over Mayorga, could have such a tough time against him especially in the first 10 rounds. I actually had Mayorga slightly ahead after 10 rounds.

The evidence is clear. Shane struggles with opponents who are good boxers. He gets easily confused when confronted with a good jab and movement. Shane has provided fans with much excitement over the last couple of decades, but after this fight, people will be saying Shane is too old. Floyd by wide UD.
