Joe was the top guy in his division and beat every man he ever faced...You cant ask for anything more out of the guy. He's the greatest supermiddle-Light Heavyweight of his era and possibly of all time

He made out Kessler to be his best win. He always talked about Kessler like he is unbeatable. Hopkins asked him "Who did you beat" Calzaghe replied with a smile "Kessler". Calzaghe tipped Kessler to win the super six.

But really happened. He was schooled by a green Ward in a one sided boxing display. Even Froch resume will be better than Calzaghe's at SMW if he beats Kessler. How shameful. Froch does more at SMW in less fights and being undefeated.

Also Eubank wasn't a great win at all. Eubank entered a 2 week weight draining regime just to make weight and he never won a fight again.

What does he have left? A win over Lacy and a questionable win over hopkins.

that era ended long ago and calzaghe was never a part of it. why didn't he fight a guy like dawson who is the best of the now era? not the 90's era?

you also must think tarver and jermain taylor are the 2 best fighters of all time since they beat those same guys when they were actually near peak, in their actual weight classes and more decisively. oh yea you also think danny williams is the greatest cause he beat tyson right? Fact.
