What country produces the best boxers?

I dont want everybody to get all insanely nationalistic on this one, but I was curious what country people thought the best fighters came out. Here are some of the bigger countries and the highlights of ACTIVE FIGHTERS who come from there.

    United States of America:
Chris Byrd, Monte Barrett, John Ruiz, Lamon Brewster, O'Neill Bell, Antonio Tarver, Roy Jones, Jeff Lacy, Bernard Hopkins, Jermain Taylor, Winky Wright, Shane Mosley, Oscar De La Hoya, Zab Judah, Cory Spinks, Arturo Gatti, Floyd Mayweather Jr, Diego Corrales, Mark Johnson.

    United States of Mexico:
Antonio Margarito, Cosme Rivera, Joes Luis Castillo, Marco Antonio Barrera, Erik Morales, Jesus Chavez, Juan Manuel Marquez, Oscar Larios, Israel Vazquez, Rafeal Marquez, Martin Castillo, Ivan Hernandez, Jorge Arce.

    Puerto Rico
Felix Trinidad, Miguel Cotto, Kermit Cintron, Fres Oquendo, Daniel Santos, Ivan Calderon, Nelson Dieppa, Manny Siaca,

    United Kingdom:
Johnny Nelson, Clinton Woods, Robin Reid, Howard Eastman, Joe Calzaghe, Ricky Hatton, Junior Witter, Carl Thompson, Michael Brodie.

    Australia:
Hussein Hussein, Kostya Tszyu, Paul Briggs, Anthony Mundine, Danny Green, Sam Soliman, Lovermore Ndou, Robbie Peden.

    Germany:
Felix Sturm, Oktay Urkal, Markus Beyer, Aurthur Abraham.

    Nicaragua:
    Ricardo Mayorga, Luis Perez.

    Ukraine:
    The brothers Klitschko

And a whole bunch of others that are equally deserving to be listed but I tire of such things. So lets hear it, what do you think. I am of the opinion that it really depends on what weight classes we are talking about, or even general sizes-- but I will wait with my opinions until I hear some of yours.

PS- Sorry for everybody I excluded but I had some trouble choosing where to put guys who were born one place and grew up another, or may or may not be all that great, or just got missed.

Umm... you might want to change your listing of England to Britian or the United Kingdom because Calzaghe is from Wales. And Scott Harrison is from Scotland. So I would implore you change your listing of England to either Britian or the United Kingdom. It pisses me off when people think England contitutes the entirety of the United Kingdom or of Britain and Northern Ireland.

Calzaghe is the best fighter from Britian and the UK and he is not from England. Change your listing to UK or Britian.

I think Brodie is from Scotland or Northern Ireland also.

You are seriously a ****** for not knowing the difference between England and the United Kingdom or England and Britian.

Real hard topic to answer, but if I was picking one Id go with my home country of USA. Great fighters have came from all over like you have shown in your main post. Talent wise its real hard for me to tell but Id probally say USA because majority of my favorite fighters come from America. I do like a lot of fighters from all over but Ill go with America.

              lol

Robin Reid is Irish actually, but I shouldn't nitpick. In any case, the USA is the best source, obviously. Brits can't prove they produce better boxers "per capita" but they like to say it.

              (^_^)

Calzaghe and Harrison are not from England ................Idiot

They are from Britian and the UK but not from England. Have you ever looked at map in your entier life. Or have any knowledge whatsoever of geography.
