Nothing more than a midwest journeyman criminal with a punch.
Today he wouldn't even crack the top 20.
He's no different than Travis Walker.
Arreola would annihilate Liston too.
Hell, even Chambers would **** him up.
liston had the reach and power to KO wladimir.
u can repeat yourself as much as u want, and create the next 10years threads about what a bum liston was, but u r not gonna change my mind or any1 elses, especially not with your moronic behaviour.
This is a joke...it has to be a joke. Muhammad Ali is great. There are some fighters that people elevate beyond what they really are (Pernell Whitaker...), Ali isn't one of them. Fastest heavyweight ever with fantastic footwork, a granite chin, lion's heart, incredible stamina AND knockout power? The Klits hit harder...and that's it. Wlad's best punch is his jab. Muhammad Ali had either the best or second best jab in history (him and Liston). Ali dances around the lead-booted Klits and beats them by convincing UD. Maybe 8-4 or 9-3.

yes your right, the klitschkos suck, there just dominating the division, but no there horrible fighters....../
They may be slower, but not by much. Especially Wlad.
Here's a young version of Wladimir:
And here's a young version of Ali:
Do you honestly think it wasn't by much?
But they are far better technically in every way except maybe footwork on Wlads part.
I'm sure you're well aware of Wladimir being knocked out by Sanders, Brewster and Purrity. Their speed and accuracy weren't anything close to Ali's, yet they were able to knock him out. What do you think a prime Ali would have done to him?
A prime Vitali's face was ripped open by a punch from an old, out of shape Lewis. What do you think a prime Ali would have done to him?
Prime for prime, Ali would've probably won some of the early rounds on jabbing and moving, but once he started to feel the power and the pressure he would've folded.
There was no greater pressure fighter in the heavyweight division than Joe Frazier. He was the Henry Armstrong of the heavyweight division. If Ali could handle Frazier's pressure, I'm sure he could handle what the Klitschko's have to offer.
He only weighed 210 or 215.
The Klitschko's eat small guys like him for breakfast. It would be no different than the Chambers fight.
Sanders and Brewster both weighed only about 10 pounds heavier than Ali, yet they both knocked Wladimir out.
And I hope you were joking about comparing Chambers to Ali. Because, if not, that would destroy your claim to boxing knowledge.
Shavers, big puncher, nothing else.
Frazier, one armed fighter who was way too short for the division. You take his left hook, you neutralize him.
Foreman, crude, slow but could punch.
Liston, basic 1-2 bum w/ a punch.
Cleveland Williams, big strong guy who could punch and not much else.
With the slight exception of Frazier who could box a bit, the others are tailor made, crude guys w/ little skill who relied on power.
The Klitschko's have the power, the intelligence and an abundance of technical ability to go w/ it.
Ali's opponents are all overrated. They should be seen for what they are, crude old time fighters who were strong, but not much else.
So the only point you're making is that Ali never faced a fighter with as much skill as the Klits?. Well that is true.
But the same can be said in the other direction.
