I think even though he is talented he will not be able to bring that punch he was famous for up to 140 or beyond. To me at 140 he would be a sitting duck for guys like Alexander, Bradley, and even Maidana. I don't know about kahn since I still believe he has not proven himself although he has a belt.

i think facing khan if he beats malignaggi is an obvious choice. guzman cant even punch at 135. perfect follow up match-up for khan.
if guzman faces maidana and beats him that would eliminate maidana as khan's mandatory.

I saw this **** coming, can't act like he didn't deserve it. If he really wants it and is serious about it, he should have to fight twice at 140 before he's back on HBO or Showtime.

I suggest GBP put him on Friday Night Fights, Fight Night Club, or a PPV undercard to brush the haters off and appease the networks.

Im tired about hearing of this guy. He has made more news with his bull**** than his fights. Has also made more news of what "people think" he can do...ENOUGH!

Maidana punches like a mule kick but has poor skills. His only chance against Guzman is by KO and Guzman will not stand and trade with Maidana...if he's smart.

i like that.. cuz this will force guzman to push himself more and fight more often. he needs to fight once in the summer nd agian in the end of the year.. nd early next year back on hbo for a title fight.
