LOL **** that. cheating is cheating. 9 pounds is insane. I mean you got guys who come in 3 or 4 pounds but atleast they try. This clown came in 9 ****in pounds because he knew he couldn't beat funeka in a fair fight.

How come he just doesn't move up in weight instead of
trying to make the Lightweight limit?

Jose Luis Castillo was weighing 147 the night he fought Floyd
in their rematch at the LW limit so coming in over weight is
nothing new to the sport but that doesn't mean it should be
cosigned. Guzman did the same bull**** twice. He should just
        move up and stop fronting.

so let him fight the winner of Amir Khan - Paulie M...
that would be a nice introduction to the division, if he's able to make 140lbs

I think Guzman is talented but he has no discipline. Last saturday he had an unfair advantage over Funeka by not having to make weight. That is twice he has done this, so the networks should cut him off for not being disciplined in that matter.

I think even though he is talented he will not be able to bring that punch he was famous for up to 140 or beyond. To me at 140 he would be a sitting duck for guys like Alexander, Bradley, and even Maidana. I don't know about kahn since I still believe he has not proven himself although he has a belt.

Honestly I don't respect the choices made by Guzman to come in overweight but then again there is always another side to the story, maybe at 135 he would have killed himself, thoughts are a consistantly changing thing so when he signed to rematch Funeka he probably didn't consider his struggles to make the weight..

I don't think no undefeated fighter should take that kind of chance, yea it's ****ed up for Funeka but if Guzman would have trained off those 9 pounds then Funeka wouldn't have had a fighter in front of him just a shell of an undefeated one and that in it's own right will have been unfortunate..

I don't like what Guzman did, it was wrong and all but it isn't like he is going to try to remain a Lightweight u feel me, he understands what he needs to do next which is move up and for what it's worth he looked comfortable there, I still like Guzman yo you don't just Box Humberto Soto's socks off like that, Guzman is a very talented fighter

I would go that far in describing Maidana, Guzman should be able to outpoint the crude brawler if he doesn't get caught.
