But I got Jones by 12 round split decision due to being more active.
I checked both of their punch stat numbers for the fights where compubox was counting and Hopkins has a higher punch count average. Against their most recent common opponent (Calzaghe) it's a 100+ punch difference.

Hop isn't Calzaghe. He wont be anywhere near as fast. Hops style will allow Jones to throw more punches.

Styles make fights and Jones will like Hops "slower" paced style. Calzaghe was just to active. Jones in his prime would have made Joe blind, dumb and ******ed in the ring.

As I have said. Now days, Hop has every advantage BUT I'm pulling for Jones who I think will be more active and will pull of a SD victory. Less deserving then the last go around 17 years ago.

Just because Hopkins speaks a bunch of lies, now, to promote the fight, is no reason for anyone with sense to believe him. Apart from anything else, Hopkins is as big a liar and bombast as one could find anywhere, whereas Jones has always, as far as can be seen, stuck to the truth, however outrageous it may have seemed to ordinary guys. Jones was DIFFERENT, the best fighter of his generation, by far superior to the grunting, scrabbling, butting, fouling, faking Hopkins, one of the worst box office draws in fight history.
Edgarg!!! You said it all. End of topic!!!!!
