Why do you floyd fans keep bringing this up? He looks the SAME he always does. Jesus, talk about reaching.
Flashback: Check out Miguel Cotto watching Mayweather vs. Gatti

I agree. It was but don't tell the fanqueens that. Most of the posters here are new fans and don't remember any of this but I do. I get a distinct sense of Deja Vu.
And yes Gatti did go on to be beaten by Gomez. Of course this fight happened in 2005 and the Gomez fight was 2007. No way a guy with Gatti's style got more and more shot as the years went by. Nope. Also Floyd was going up in weight (hi *******s) and Gomez was a full blown welterweight. But hey let's not worry about facts.
I agree, Terrence Stamp is King.
I'm not sure if I like the
"I see you are practiced in worshiping things that fly. Good"
"Who is this Superman? Come to me...Superman...if you daahaa. I defy you! come and kneel before ZODDD!!"
OR
"Oh God."
"Zod."

Why are you still a constant broken record about Floyd. You're so biased it's ******ed.
I simply posted it. Frankly I DON'T think Cotto was "shook" or whatever. Just find the responses interesting. But keep on with your biased pretend objectivity act, it's good for a laugh.
What's even funnier is that you are an older poster so you might remember some of the stuff said back then. And you remember that Cotto's handlers REJECTED a fight with Floyd at the time. LOL.
"After seeing Floyd’s dismantling of Gatti (chants of “easy work” coming from the Mayweather camp before the fight- remember?), the powers that be at Top Rank decided to back off the Mayweather talk and put their cash cow (Cotto) into more winnable fights. The writing was on the wall. The Mayweather fight was a chance they weren’t quite ready to take."
But hey-whatever. Let's pretend that never happened....Comment

Which fighter fought those 3? Mayweather or Cotto.
When has Cotto EVER been afraid of a fighter? You want to talk about a broken record? what will I find if I do a search for your posts and thread content?Comment

All great quotes, I dont want to hijack your thread so we will have to talk another time.

Uh again, if you could read (which I'm seriously beginning to doubt) I SAID I personally don't think Cotto was scared at ALL. I've said that a few times here but like a broken record here you go again. His MANAGEMENT certainly was scared but that's a different story, we can all pretend that never happened.
And uh Mayweather is about to fight Mosely. So I guess we can take that one off your little list?
I have always like Cotto and respected his heart and his will to fight. I thought he was a flawed fighter but fun to watch. I was rooting for him big time against Margarito. But I always thought he had glaring flaws like cheating against Judah to get out of the first 3 rounds, the disgraceful stoppage on Corley and the life and death war with Torres. Maybe, given all that, it makes sense that his management didn't think he was ready then.
Either way I made this thread because it's very interesting to see how people react to a guy just sitting there watching.
You're a perfect example of why I made this thread. I'm simply interested.Comment

Not to wander off of your debate too much, but I think Cotto is afraid Margarito. I mean, if he thought he cheated the first time, he should want to fight him and get revenge. Especially now that Margarito doesn't have the plaster to beat him with?
Not supporting Margs, i think he should be banned for life, but If he isn't I dont see why Cotto wouldn't want a rematch with the guy that ****ed his career.Comment

I agree. Disgusting what Margs did. Hate that guy for ruining Cotto the way he did.Not to wander off of your debate too much, but I think Cotto is afraid Margarito.
