He may be the mandatory, but that doesn't make him a good opponent.
I seriously don't get the hype about Haye. Two years ago he was shouting about how he was gonna dethrone the Klitschko's and take over the heavyweight division. Both of them granted him a title shot, but he cancelled out both times at the last minute.
Who did he choose to fight instead? The worst heavyweight champion in years, who just came off of a gift decision after receiving a boxing lesson from a 46 year old Holyfield.
If ever there was a fighter that needed to be classified as a paper champion, it's Haye.Comment

Fair do's but can't you see the reasoning as to why he took the Valuev fight? He may be the mandatory, but that doesn't make him a good opponent.

He took it to win a belt and then when he does step up against the Klits there will be no more, **** 3 fight contracts or payment only by British TV revenue. Once he gets rid of his Manda hopefully Valuev won't activate his rematch clause, and the Klit fights can happen but Haye will have more bargaining power, hell if the Klits offered me those contracts i'd walk too, and so would you.Comment

He took the Valuev fight knowing that he would have to fight Ruiz (shot), Valuev (again) and then Chagaev (who just got a whooping from Wladimir), before facing either one of the Klitschko's. Yet, he calls himself the savior of the heavyweight division.Fair do's but can't you see the reasoning as to why he took the Valuev fight?

He literally did nothing, as a heavyweight, to grant him a title shot against the Klitschko's. They granted him the title shot that he had been crying about and he ran away both times at the last minute.Comment

I think he'll vacate the title, if he has to fight Valuev again. If he doesn't then i am done with him.He took the Valuev fight knowing that he would have to fight Ruiz (shot), Valuev (again) and then Chagaev (who just got a whooping from Wladimir), before facing either one of the Klitschko's.
