Then boxing clearly isn't for you.

If you don't feel you will get your money's worth from defensive boxers' fights then don't buy them. Simple.

Believe it or not the world doesn't revolve around you and it's not an athlete's job to cater to the whims of his audience. His obligation is simply to compete and try his utmost to win. It's on you whether or not you enjoy the spectacle of that competition.

        Simple as this post.

If you don't think it's worth it to see your favorite fighter get outboxed by Mayweather/Dirrell/Dawson/Foreman/Malignaggi etc, then just don't purchase and don't watch the damn fight.

That's called running. If Mayweather was this great defensive fighter then he would have no issue in staying in the pocket and doing his work there.

I dont mind floyd doing that, sometimes. But against a lightweight whom he already cheated on teh scales, he still fought cautious as **** which was annoying.

Its also annoying how he claims he's a warrior out for blood, he promises a KO, only to have him run and potshot for 12 rounds. In the end both boxers are clean and they might as well have worn headgear with white gloved tips. see (odlh, baldomir)

its lame how he lies about promising these action packed fights. He has qualities of a dirty lying politician.

Funny thing is casual fans seem to be ok with it, hence why the biggest ppv star in the sport is Mayweather! however the hardcore fans who claim to be all about the sweet science; are the ones who constantly complain about his technical style!
