Was AA on his way to stopping Dirrell?

AA screwed up and got himself DQ'd in the 11th. He knocked Dirrell down in the previous round and had him running when he fouled him. I personally think Dirrell was on he way to getting KTFO in the championship rounds and that's why he faked that he was KTFO.

If AA didn't foul and get DQ'd, do you all think he would have eventually scored the legal KO shot? I think he would've pulled it off, he's got that kind of power and Dirrell was looking like wounded prey.

Not even close. Dirrell was winning the Dirrell and AA was throwing and hoping.

Dude, Abraham tripped Dirrell, that was why he went down. Notice Abraham's left foot. The punch pushed his body back while the foot tripped him so he went down. He wasn't obviously hurt. The ref did well, those are the rules, there is no discussion possible here.

You could argue the punch pushing had more effect than the foot pulling but the rules are still clear: A trip. And the ref ruled it a trip.

Even before Abraham threw the punch, the foot was there. Abraham screw himself out of a points loss.

I'm unsure, thats why the fight needs a rematch. One man was dominating the fight, Dirrell but in the last two rounds Dirrell started to run and AA was looking better when Dirrel ran.

I think AA trained for a runner but was shocked when Dirrell went toe2toe the first 9 rounds of the fight.

the KD in the 10th was legit.
was abraham on his way to a KO victory? i have no idea. i just know that dirrell was tired, abraham was not, and the momentum had shifted.

i went yes because i when watching it, thought he was gonna get the ko

but it was not a sure thing, dirrell had taken a few good shots throughout the fight and had fought back well, but theres no doubt aa was coming on and dirrell had that deer in a headlight look about him. would love to see a rematch one day
