abraham wasnt tired. thats what happens when you punch like 10 times a round and have very little excess movement for the majority of the fight.
abraham's aggressiveness and output was increasing, dirrell's was decreasing.

i've watched the fight 3 times now and i still dont like or dislike either fighter.

LOL! You're the most delusional poster in the thread. Sure Dirrell had a good chance of surviving. But for you to say that Abraham had no chance at all of getting a KO is just ridiculous. Dirrell had stopped fighting and was just running, and Abraham has huge one-punch power and was starting to increase the pressure. Despite what you say, Dirrell never fought the same after that knock-down that you claim was just a slip - he had clearly been hurt or if not hurt, at least scared.

Direll could have literally ran for the next two rounds and still won a clear decision victory.

So the answer is, **** NO. Dirrell is a smart guy, there's no way Abraham would KO him. I do think Abraham would have won the last two rounds though.

IMO he would have survived the 4 minutes despite the knockdown in the 10th. He looked less like he was hurt and more like he was trying to waste time and get the decision. Abe would've had to catch him with a pretty good shot or two to make the difference.

Impossible to say really. On the one hand we have Abraham, who's proven he can stop fighters at any stage of a fight with a single punch, on the other we have Dirrell who's one of the most, ahem, elusive boxers in the division. Maybe Abraham would have caught him sometime in the 12th, maybe Dirrell would have skipped about the ring and ridden out a points decision. Either scenario is as plausible and likely as the other. At any rate, there needs to be a rematch as neither fighter came off looking good in that one. If there were I'd probably favour Abraham, since a large part of his lack of success in the early rounds was due to his not opening up more. I don't expect him to turn into Edwin Valero or anything, but he needs to start being more aggressive sooner in the fight. He hasn't quite got the balance right yet.

if abraham had not landed that punch, i dont think dirrell would have hit the canvas. he did, and the punch was a big reason why.
              this

Regarding the question whether AA would've been able to KTFO Dirrell: I don't know. It's hard to say. On the one hand Dirrell was in complete control for the first nine rounds, then - on the other - AA took the 10th round and started to land punches on Dirrell. The 11th was even balanced imho. If I have to decide, I'd say "no" - but AA has always the chance to get the KO.

If AA didn't foul and get DQ'd, do you all think he would have eventually scored the legal KO shot? I think he would've pulled it off, he's got that kind of power and Dirrell was looking like wounded prey.

Yes he was......end thread new subject please

yes no doubt, he already knocked dirrell down in the 10th and was starting to land clean shots. dirrell was gasing out and running but still getting caught

abraham ****ed it up with that illegal shot, he had dirrell
