He has a lot of scar tissue and that will take a long time to heal properly, but it eventually gets to a somewhat normal state. Plastic surgery is an option too. Actually, a whole year layoff would suit him well, but hes gonna do what he wants to and get that money. I'm just glad he has a new trainer. Looking forward to the results.

I think he needs too start going to the body more like he did earlier in his career. I think if emanuel does the right things Cotto can once again be a top 5 p4p fighter and better than both Mosley and Mayweather.
couldnt agree with you more on everything u said.

if cottos punches couldnt hurt pac at 145, what is he gonna do at 154 against a big puncher?

I got foreman winning this fight if he makes cotto fight going backwards

I wish them both the best of luck.
Agreed with most of this. I wish he would have took over a couple of years ago because although Evangelista is a very good trainer, I believe he took Miguel as far as he could go. This is a sport and sometimes you do need to add dfferent opinions and techniques to your camp.

Right now the question is, is it too late? Miguel seems like a machine in camp though who soaks up information and works hard. So if anybody can learn a thing or two late in his career it's him. But he's been in a lot of tough fights now so I don't know.

foreman is no where near a big puncher. He's a decent puncher considering his bad KO record. Good enough to get your attention. I believe this is also a one time thing for Miguel. At least it should be.

I don`t like Steward as a trainer for Cotto... Every trainer has his own type of boxers with whom he cooperates best... Roach deals best with iron-chinned pressure-type fighters, Emanuel - with tall, long-armed jabbers... Cotto needs Evangelista who works best with body punchers...

OMG, I think the guy meant that IF Cotto wins the Foreman fight and then steps into the ring with a big puncher from 154 he gets demolished...

Cotto belongs to 147 right now...
