Not a big cotto fan but this is a great move for him.... Exactly what he needs a trainer that can take charge (hopefully).... All we need to find out is will they mix good with each other....

I don't really trust Stewards style to work with short stocky fighters

Wow...I thought Steward and Cotto didn't like each other. I just hope Steward can bring out the best in Miguel and help him to reach his full potential in the ring, physically and mentally.

From Arum's comment a few days back on this issue, I get the feeling that either Steward doesn't give a **** about Cotto, therefore he isn't the best fit, or Arum wants Foreman to win (he preffered McGirt).

Either one could be a possibility.

Not sure if yall remember Steward lobbying to work with cotto before the pacman fight. Cotto had a shot at winning, but he had no corner (very sad scene) i do not think cotto is shot, i just think he needs a confidence boost, and to go back to the basics. Manny will study the old cotto, and raise his fundamentals, and boxing iQ. if Cotto could have maintained the first 2 rounds, he had a shot. Manny will be excellent, because he studies his pupil as well as the competition, he said he had a gameplan for the pacman fight if cotto would bring him on. i honestly think this will be an explosive duo, and put acouple more years on cotto's odometer.

I disagree. I thought Cotto looked the best i've ever seen him in the first 4 or 5 rds of the Pac fight. He lost to the best fighter on the planet plain and simple. I think he needs too start going to the body more like he did earlier in his career. I think if emanuel does the right things Cotto can once again be a top 5 p4p fighter and better than both Mosley and Mayweather.

Cong**** to Steward for adding the drama to this fight. Now it can be about more than just seeing if Cotto is damage goods but Rather Stewart take a big fat crap on Foreman and his camp. World's # 1 trainer is funny b/c I don't even know who Foreman's trainer is nor has he produced champions decade after decade like E.Steward
