Hopkis doesn't try to knock opponents out. He has hurt, wobbled, dropped or stunned every opponent he has faced since he moved up to LHW. That all happened when he was being cautious. I expect to Hopkins to get rougher in this fight, and probably proove a point, unless he has too much respect for Jones.

I'm lost. The facts are that he's guaranteed only 3mil. He gets 60% of the PPV revenue. 60% of what will go to the fighters, and that's a tiny slice. The PPV #s aren't in yet (but Hopkins already knows his split ) but judging by the gate and their last pay-per-views (Hopkins vs. Pavlik 190k, Jones vs. Calzaghe 225k), he'll be lucky to get an extra million. Eight mil was just something you made up. It damn sure isn't anywhere near fact.
