he just doesn't have the snap in his punches liek he used to have. Dude could really crack back in the day but, I think the LHW limit is a little too hard for him to make at this stage in his career.

I agree, I'm not so sure Tarver could still beat Roy. He has slowed down too much to be effective it seems. I think Danny Green gets beat in a fair fight and Johnson has slowed a bit as well. Hard to tell, but if Roy went back and avenged a couple of those losses, I think he could live with that.

That being said, I think Roy may have one more good performance in him similar to the Lacy fight but not much more. I really don't think he could last 12 rounds with Chad Dawson at this stage. Hate to say that too.

If he wins then he's defiantly going to convince himself that hes still got the skills to compete at the highest level which is as we know not true. I expect Roy will go on to fight Green... i really hope Roy hangs em up after Bernard whoops his ass though i hate to see his legacy get splattered if he carries on any further after he loses this bout.

Really? I gave him a single round altogether in those 2 fights. Dawson murked him good and proper.

Well, that raises another interesting question........

If he does win, does that mean he CAN somehow compete at the highest level still? I mean, he would be beating the #2 LHW in the world and the Green thing is probably a fluke ordeal........

              Hard to tell.

That's kinda how I'm leaning because for all purposes, Roy should not be able to compete with Hopkins at this stage should he?

Do you think he would improve on his legacy if he won and retired on that good win? Or does it not really matter and will not effect it either way?

He gets endorsed by AARP for his next fight.
