A ko victory would have been nice, but I personnaly didn't want the ko to happen before rounds 8 or 9. I'm pretty happy Tua had to go 12 in the end, because there were a lot of question marks surrounding his stamina after a long layoff (and being 235 lbs). The destruction of Cameron didn't answer any of these. Now, it looks like he has good stamina since he went 12 with Friday, so he can start fighting the bigger names without having to fear to fade.
I want to see Tua vs Peter or Arreola next. Power vs power. Either one of these 2 would be explosive. Chambers or Kevin Johnson, as someone has suggested as next opponents, are very bad stylistically for Tua.
In his whole career, Tua has only lost 2 fights decisively : to Lewis and to Byrd. He has to stay away from tall fighters fighting outside with a good jab (best example now is Wlad) just as he has to stay away from fast and slick boxers. Maybe Tua would beat Chambers, but that's definitely not a fight I would want if I were his matchmaker. He would probably beat Kingpin because the dude doesn't fight back, but he wouldn't look good doing it.
